Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute the company's strategy and business plans for the Brazilian market.
  • Provide strategic guidance to city managers and operations teams, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the business, including fleet management, maintenance, rider experience, and safety protocols.
  • Implement best practices and streamline processes to optimize operational efficiency.

Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of city managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Drive the recruitment, training, and development of high-performing teams.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay updated on local and national regulations, ensuring full compliance with government requirements and regulations.
  • Develop relationships with local authorities and stakeholders to create a favorable operating environment.

Financial Management:

  • Work with the CFO to develop and manage budgets, track financial performance, and ensure that operations are cost-effective.
  • Implement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability in the Brazilian market.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Provide regular updates to the CEO and the board of directors on the performance of operations in Brazil.
  • Foster effective communication between the operations team and other functional areas within the company.


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in executive leadership roles with a strong track record of managing operations in a rapidly growing organization.
  • Experience in the micromobility, transportation, or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the Brazilian market, regulations, and local dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken).
  • Fluency in the Russian language is highly desirable
